Mike Owens:

Mike Owens has a background in publishing, writing, or literary studies. Many start as editors, readers, or in marketing roles, gaining insights into the industry. Mr. Owens has strong communication skills, a good understanding of market trends, and the ability to build relationships with authors and publishers. His ultimate goal is to help authors navigate the publishing process, negotiate contracts, and promote their works.

Don Harris:

Don Harris is a California native who left his heart in San Diego, and now resides in Virginia after a stint in Florida. His degree is in Communication from San Diego State University, and his resume runs the gamut from Lifeguard to Business Systems Analyst, but books have always been his passion. Mr. Harris is excited to finally merge his love of literature with his past professional experiences as a literary agent with The Writer’s Bridge Literary Agency after starting his career.. He looks forward to helping authors build successful, sustainable careers.

Deana Donnavan:

Deana Donnavan is a former Civil engineer who made the switch to publishing in 2011. They have worked in the publishing industry as an editorial assistant, author’s assistant, publicist, and art director. Deana Donnavan is a former board member, and Agent Liaison. Deana Donnavan is on the lookout for young adult and middle grade of all genres, adult romance, and adult science fiction, fantasy, and speculative fiction.

Richard Thomas:

Richard Thomas considers the opportunity to help bring books into existence to be a great honor, and it is a particular joy for him to work alongside authors as they develop their project from idea to polished manuscript. The best feeling of all is when those manuscripts end up as books in the hands of children. Her agenting style is collaborative and editorial, and He always seeks to refine a manuscript so that the author is telling the story they most want to tell in the best way possible. Richard Thomas represents picture books, middle grade and young adult, both fiction and nonfiction, as well as graphic novels. He also represents illustrators. He is drawn to high concept stories with high level writing, books that can be described in one sentence that bring something new to shelves—children’s books should be both fun to read and say something important. He passionately believes that all kids should be able to see themselves in books, and so is always on the lookout for diverse perspectives.

Edward Brown:

After a long career as a journalist and copyeditor. Mr. Brown has been a freelance editor and new talent mentor for mentorships. Edward loves speculative fiction of all flavors, from horror and thriller to sci-fi, fantasy and romance, especially from marginalized voices. They are mostly focused on adult fiction, but are interested in Young Adult fiction with crossover appeal.

Harry Perez:

Harry Perez’s literary agent journey began at the age of 21. He started his publishing career In 2016, Harry formed The Writer’s Bridge Literary Agency. With his eclectic taste and particular passion for horror, Harry is the top literary agent in the genre. As a literary agent, Harry represents a broad range of commercial fiction and serious nonfiction. In fiction, he is especially interested in projects broadly defined as horror. This includes select young adult horror. He is always looking for projects by underrepresented voices both in horror, fiction in general, and nonfiction.
